Michael Civin is an experienced and successful psychologist who works in the New Yor City area. He is a fixture in the psychological field of New York City because he has been around for a few years and is a co-founder of a psychological services firm. This is an important field that helps many people to cope with various issues ever single day. Michael Civin received extensive training and education in order to become a successful and effective psychologist.

Michael Civin attended Harvard College and graduated with cum laude honors in 1968, with an A.B. degree. Michael Civin began attending school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1968, attending for a year, before he switched over to the University of Oregon. It was at the University of Oregon that Michael Civin obtained his first Masters of Arts degree, graduating in 1970. His second Masters of Arts degree was awarded from Adelphi University, where Michael Civin graduated from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies. Civin’s Ph.D. came from the Gordon F. Derner Institute, too. He attained his Ph.D. in 1988 and thereafter pursued his Postdoctoral Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, which he was able to obtain in 1993.

Michael Civin today runs a private practice in New York City, serving the Astoria, Bayville, and Manhattan neighborhoods. This private practice was founded in 2007, shortly before Civin co-founded the Rose Hill Psychological Services firm in 2008.
